Squelch squelch

Urgh! Is it really August? I seem to have spent most of my 6 weeks on the road soggy and squelching round fields. The van has a permanent aroma of wet dog  and I’ve given up cleaning the floor.  I fail to see the charm of pitching and staying in a tent when it’s 7 degrees at night and pouring with rain all day. I have far too many nasty memories of Chopper Club weekends away where I slept in all of my clothes as it was so cold and the tent always leaked.  I long for warmer, more interesting places to wake up to. Hopefully in a few weeks we will no longer be in Britain and I just have to decide whether to turn left or right when I reach Calais.

About travellingninjas3

Scarlet haired veggie/coeliac/tattooed/charity shop loving rebel sold everything to take to the road with 3 Yorkies in a campervan to discover the meaning of life & blog about it. It all went well for 18 months but then a flippin bloke walked into my life and turned it upside down so now the travelling has come to a halt but I still live in the van but in a field - marvellous :o)
